PROJECT BACKGROUND

Owner of an African Fashion brand was looking to outsource management of social media (caption writing, hashtags, content planning/scheduling, reels editing, engagement).The client also realized the brand's Instagram account was progressively losing followers and engagement.

SOLUTION

My strategy was to make the brand's page more human-like and friendly for consumers. I edited 5-7 reels per month for the client and made sure the social captions matched the brand voice. I manually removed any unengaged accounts and recommended the client to stop posting for 7 days. After a break, we would resume posting content with a new hashtag strategy, create more engaging content on IG stories, and shared generated content. 

 

Compared to the previous 90 days, the brand's Instagram account gained 722 more followers and surpassed 29,000 followers total. We were also able to increase engagement by 35%. By the conclusion of our contact, the account was at over 30,000 followers.
